May 7 – Yee-hah, destination Florida! No, I don’t want to move back, but yes I am looking forward to staying in one spot for a few weeks.
On the way back we stopped over in Savannah to see my son Drew, had lunch with him, he gave me a lovely photo album for Mothers Day to store our travel adventures, then we got back on the road and arrived in Fernandina Beach safe and sound.
I am very thankful for each and every adventure, fun time, mishap, family visits and more. It has been such a growing experience for me personally and I have regained my fun-loving self and will be ready for Europe this month, but for now……….time to hug our friends and rest.

Thank you for a lovely adventure. I spent much time laughing & appreciated your commentary and recommendations through most of the states. Ohio is our home – born & raised in Cleveland, hubby in Sandusky, currently reside near Canton… you are so spot on with the Ohio drivers – although most Ohio drivers don’t know they are so polite!
We have a home in Mt Dora FL and travel back/forth down I 77 three time between our two places. Loved your description – surprised you didn’t mention Charlotte – the Lake Norman bottleneck is absolutely the worst we’ve seen the entire route – including all the Fl traffic once we get there!
Looking forward to your book and your Europe Travel Log – glad you are refreshed.
Charlotte was interesting to say the least, but I think it did not affect me as much since I was in close proximity to some needed relaxation time, and I think we must have hit it at just the right time of day. Also after Chicago, nothing much to faze one after that fiasco. LOL
Thank you so much for reading. As my blog is in the early stages, I was wondering how you found it?
I am also open for suggestions. “When one stops learning, one stops living.”
