On Monday the 11th, we decided to stay in and get some blog work done and give Han’s knee a chance to rest. He twisted it wrong and it is now painfully yelling at him.
We were worn out from yesterday too, pushing a stroller uphill, climbing the streets of Seattle, so it was just as well.
We only went out for some sushi and it was delicious. Trapper Sushi is by far the best Sushi I have ever eaten. They have about eight restaurants in the area. Seattle Washington area. Stylish interior geared towards young urban professionals with great service, excellent bar and superior sushi and sashimi, hidden in a shopping non-assuming center. Next day on the 12th, we braved Seattle traffic once again, however it was probably the easiest driving day yet into the city.
We decided to go on the Argosy Cruise, one of the city pass attractions) even though the weather was a bit crappy. It was still fun and informative and if you are interested in some good Seattle waterfront/ Puget Sound history, we can definitely recommend this almost 2 hour trip. We enjoyed it and would suggest this as a nice relaxing outing for the entire family. I will let the photos do the talking. http://www.argosycruises.com/sightseeing-cruises/seattle-waterfront-harbor-tours-cruise/
We had every intention of traveling across the Puget Sound by ferry to Bremerton, but we just missed the four o’clock by about 5 minutes and did not want to wait for the next one, so we began our slow drive back to Silverdale.
The rain was not overly intense but it surely slows the traffic down to a snail’s pace and most the time we were going approx 25mph. It took us quite awhile to get back.
When we drove up we saw a real deer sitting in the front yard as a sign of welcome. They seem almost tame around here.
For the last 2 1/2 days we have been spending time with the family and I was trying to get my quota of kisses and hugs in to tide me over until we see them again. I love those little people and my daughter SO much. My son-in-law is pretty awesome too.
